Cancellation and refunds

1. In short

A seat deposit holds your place and the balance is due 21 days before the ride. If you cancel, the share we refund depends on how many days are left before the ride. If we cancel, you choose a new date or get your money back.

This policy is part of the terms. Amounts are in Indian rupees and refer to what you have actually paid us.

2. Refund tiers

If you cancel your seat, we refund as follows. The day count is from the day we receive your written cancellation to the first day of the ride.

Cancellations must be sent in writing to [Public contact email] or by WhatsApp to +91 98111 23133. Seats cannot be transferred to another person without our written agreement.

3. The ride morning check

A rider who fails the ride morning gear check or riding check does not ride, and this case is non refundable.

Before every weekend we check your licence, your certified gear and your riding. This protects you and the group. Riders who arrive without the required gear, or whose riding is not safe for the group, cannot ride. Please upload your gear photos early so any problem is found well before the ride.

4. If we cancel a weekend

If we cancel a weekend, for example because too few riders are confirmed or the ride cannot run safely, you can choose either a seat on another weekend, with no extra charge, or a full refund of everything you have paid us for that weekend.

We are not responsible for costs you have arranged yourself, such as flights, trains or leave from work, so please keep your own travel flexible until your seat is confirmed in writing.

5. Weather and road closures

Mountain and desert weather changes quickly. If weather, landslides or road closures mean the planned route cannot be ridden safely, the ride lead will change the route, shorten a day or move a stop, and the weekend still counts as delivered.

If a whole day cannot run, we will tell you at once and offer the closest alternative. If the weekend as a whole cannot run, the section on cancellation by us applies.

6. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the payment method you used, through the same payment gateway. We start the refund within 7 working days of agreeing it. Your bank may take a further 5 to 7 working days to show it in your account.

GST is refunded in line with the amount refunded, and a credit note is issued where required.
